This bike flat-out rips. At 74, I wanted torque without drama, comfort without fuss, and tech I didn’t have to babysit. The Juiced Scrambler nails it. Perfect pull for an older rider, comfy seat for my 5’9”, 200 lb. frame, and totally legal in Tucson.

I’ve owned everything from dirt bikes to three wheelers, but this is the ride that gets me to pickleball, friends’ houses, and the grocery store with a grin. Skip the sketchy online brands — talk to your local bike shop. The mechanics steered me away from the weird stuff and straight toward Juiced.

Tucson’s ebike community is real. Start chatting with riders and you’ll find trails, tips, and a whole subculture.

Downsides: You’ll need a torque wrench for assembly — Juiced doesn’t tell you that until you open the box. And the battery lock-in design? Clunky. It works, but it shouldn’t be a puzzle.

Bottom line: Despite a couple of quirks, this bike is a blast. Strong torque, simple tech, comfortable ride, and backed by local mechanics who actually service it. Highly recommended. dg

I bought this bike for my 11-year old grandson based on extensive research among the options. I wanted to make sure he would be legal and safe.

I had the bike shipped my house in Arizona, where I assembled it and checked it out before I put it in my rig and drove it to Washington (along with a go-kart for my other grandson). I gotta say that assembling the bike was easy with no surprises. Since I needed to test everything, of course I rode it around my retirement community...over a few days :)

This bike really rides smoothly and seems well built. One of the important features that really sold me on this bike is the parental controls. His Mom really needed assurance that he couldn't do 28 mph unless she approved it. Also, if he breaks the rules, even when she's at work she can set the limit to something ridiculously low until he has served his time.

With privilege comes responsibility.

This was our first e bike for our family and the biggest complaint is when it is their turn to ride it. The install was easy and it has been an absolute pleasure to ride!
