I am writing this as a dad who tries to not buy the most expensive things for my children but I do like buying things that bring the most value.

I purchased e bikes for my son and for me back in April. I purchased the one I wanted and it’s been flawless for nearly 1000 miles now. At the time I told him he had a budget of $900 because he was looking at bikes around the $400 range (because that’s what he had saved up himself) and I assured him I didn’t think he could get the quality he needed for that amount of money so I “loaned him the difference). I purchased the one he wanted because he thought it looked cool and one of his friends had one and he liked it. I will spare those details but will just say it was a disaster from the word go. He managed to get 600 miles out of it before complete failure and inability to have a safe ride.

I didn’t want to make the same mistake again for him so I told him he didn’t have a budget. I wanted him to research the following. US based customer support. Quality builds. Components that are built to last. At least a two year warranty. And, a bike that can be serviced when parts are worn.

He researched and brought my to Juiced Scrambler. I did my own research and agreed we’d give it a try. He’s 100 miles in and it’s such a pleasure. From the unboxing to the assembly to the quality to the ride to the durability to the torque to the speed I can’t say anything but positive things.

First ebike and glad I made the purchase. Easy to assemble, would've been nice to get a small toolset bag or a torque wrench but I have the tools.

I live around lots of hills and the scrambler makes it easy to get around. Easily holds 20mph uphill. Fits in the back of a truck no problem. Not too heavy to load/unload by myself.

I appreciate the build quality. The ride is nice even with the knobby tires. I added mirrors and front turn signals which has a horn included on the controller which are all of the mods I want or need for now, probably street tires in the future when it is time to replace them as I am riding on pavement only.

We bought this bike for our son and he and a friend put it together. He's been using it almost daily and he has been loving it. It makes it much easier for him to get around and its really easy to handle.
