This week we’ve been focused on getting the HyperScorpion into production. We’re getting very close and should have a full production Hyper built in the next few days. It’s been a challenging e-bike to produce because so many of the components have been custom-designed for the Hyper, and every part needs to be thoroughly tested to ensure correct specifications and perfect performance!
Looking ahead, we’ll be resolving some final software issues for the HyperScorpion controller and then continuing with our field testing (with plenty of time scheduled on the race track!). Once we begin production, we’ll expedite the delivery of several Hyper samples to San Diego for test rides and demos.
We are continuing to smoothly produce and ship hundreds of Scorpion e-bikes. Earlier this week, our HQ in San Diego received a large shipment of black Scorpions and we’ll begin shipping those out to Indiegogo backers on Monday.
I’m super excited to report that our first batch of blue Scorpions is scheduled to arrive in San Diego next week, and we’ll be shipping out to Indiegogo backers before the end of the month. We’ve also started production on the new blue Scorpion with mag wheels.
Over the course of the next few weeks, we will be constantly shipping blue and black Scorpions to both our Indiegogo backers and our pre-order customers. Please be patient as we work through shipping all of these orders. Everyone will be getting their new bikes very, very soon. I’m looking forward to filling all of these pre-orders quickly so we can transition to offering on-demand shipping for both the Scorpion and HyperScorpion!
After a great deal of testing, the improved packaging for the HyperScorpion is now being finalized. We’re also working on completing the development and prototyping of several accessories, which will be announced very soon.
Thank you again for all of your patience and continued support.
